Allt-a-Bhainne 22 Year Old 1991 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Single cask hogshead #109437 bottled May 2014 by Signatory Vintage for the Cask Strength series. 222 bottles. Allt-a-Bhainne Allt-a-Bhainne opened in 1975 to the south west of Dufftown beside the Allt-a-Bhainne Burn to supply light, heathery malt whisky to Chivas blends including Chivas Regal. No official distillery bottling and only a small number of independent ones.

The Distillery

1975년에 설립된 올트-아-베인 증류소는 더프타운 남서쪽, 벤 린네스 산기슭에 위치한 잘 알려지지 않은 스페이사이드 증류소입니다. 올트-아-베인 번에서 물을 끌어오는 이 증류소는 가파른 산비탈을 따라 자연적으로 흐르는 지역의 비와 녹는 눈의 혜택을 받습니다. 원래 시바스 블렌드용 라이트 몰트 위스키 생산을 위해 설립되었지만, 최근에는 피트 위스키까지 생산 범위를 확장하며 다재다능함을 보여주고 있습니다. 1989년에 증류기를 두 개에서 네 개로 늘렸음에도 불구하고 공식 증류소 병입 제품은 많지 않습니다. 하지만 컨노이서스 초이스(Connoisseurs Choice)나 퍼스트 에디션(First Editions)과 같은 독립 병입 제품들을 통해 이 숨겨진 스페이사이드의 보석 같은 증류소만의 독특한 특징을 경험할 수 있는 드문 기회를 제공합니다.
