Ailsa Bay opened in 2007 and ranked amongst the five largest malt whisky distilleries in Scotland. Situated in Girvan distillery on the Ayrshire coast and in the Lowland whisky region Ailsa Bay produces a variety of whiskies for Wm. Grant & Sons.

에일사 베이 증류소는 에어셔 해안, 기르반 마을 바로 북쪽에 위치한 기르반 증류소 단지 내에 자리하고 있습니다. 공식적으로는 로우랜드 증류소로 분류되지만, 에일사 베이는 가볍고 달콤한 맛부터 강렬한 피트 향까지 다양한 몰트 위스키를 생산합니다. 주로 윌리엄 그랜트 & 선즈의 블렌디드 위스키를 보완하는 역할을 하지만, 에일사 베이 싱글 몰트라는 자체 브랜드로도 출시됩니다. 2007년에 문을 열어 현재 16개의 증류기를 갖춘 에일사 베이는 스코틀랜드에서 세 손가락 안에 드는 대형 몰트 위스키 증류소로, 블렌디드 및 싱글 몰트 스카치 위스키 시장 모두에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있습니다.
