아바인 디어그
마르코 테이번이 2008년에 설립한 아바인 데어그 증류소는 스코틀랜드 아우터 헤브리디스 제도의 루이스 섬, 우이그 근처 카니쉬에 위치한 증류소입니다. 현지에서 재배하고 맥아로 만든 보리로 유명한 이 증류소는 대서양 해안 가까이에 있는 던니지 창고에서 증류주를 숙성시킨 후 현장에서 수작업으로 병입합니다. 지속가능성을 중시하는 아바인 데어그는 남은 찌꺼기를 지역 하이랜드 소떼에게 먹입니다. 각각 둥근 나무 웜 튜브가 장착된 아주 작은 증류기 두 개만을 갖춘 아바인 데어그는 스코틀랜드에서 가장 작은 규모의 몰트 위스키 증류소라는 특징을 가지고 있으며, 진정한 섬 위스키 경험을 선사합니다.
