Unearth a rare piece of Scotch whisky history with the Imperial 42 Year Old 1979 Private Collection, an exceptionally aged expression from the long-lost Imperial Distillery. Distilled in July 1979 and bottled in December 2021 by Gordon & MacPhail for their prestigious Private Collection series, this Highland single malt spent over four decades maturing in a single refill American hogshead (#5619). Just 61 hand-blown crystal decanters exist, each encapsulating the elegance and subtle complexity that defines Imperial’s elusive character.
