Tasting Notes
"gmail_default"> Nose: Intense mango aromas lead to fresh orange zest and Brazil nut. Cocoa powder gives way to sweet poached pear and lemon sherbet. Taste: Smooth citrus flavours complement baked apple and honeycomb. A hint of milk chocolate develops alongside dried banana. Finish: A medium bodied finish with toasted almonds, cracked black pepper and lime peel.
Tomintoul 48 Year Old 1982 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Single refill American hogshead #2965. Distilled May 1972 & bottled April 2021 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Private Collection series. Just 70 hand-blown crystal decanters have been produced.
