Port Dundas 30 Year Old 1995 Signatory Cask Strength
Bottle Information
Tasting Notes
Port Dundas 30 Year Old 1995 is an exceptionally mature single grain Scotch whisky, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its prestigious Cask Strength Collection. Distilled in 1995 at the now-closed Port Dundas Distillery and matured for three decades in a single bourbon hogshead (#64946), this rare expression was bottled in April 2026 at a natural cask strength of 55.9% ABV. The cask yielded just 225 individually numbered bottles, making this a highly limited release from one of Scotland's legendary lost grain distilleries. After 30 years in bourbon oak, the whisky displays the silky texture and concentrated sweetness that make long-aged Port Dundas increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. The single bourbon hogshead allows the mature grain spirit to develop layers of vanilla, butterscotch, honeyed cereals, toasted coconut, and polished oak, balanced by delicate orchard fruits and warming spice. Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or added colour, this is a beautifully pure expression of old single grain Scotch whisky.
