Nose: Fresh sea breeze and salted caramel drift over green apple, lemon zest and vanilla fudge, with a faint hint of heather honey.
Palate: Silky waves of toffee apple, creamy malt and citrus peel glide across the tongue, followed by white-pepper warmth, toasted coconut and a subtle coastal tang.
Finish: Medium-long and refreshing—lingering salted toffee, soft oak spice and a final flourish of grapefruit zest and distant camp-fire embers.

Non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, only 241 individually numbered bottles capture Old Pulteney’s hallmark mix of briny sea-spray, honeyed malt and crisp orchard fruit—elegantly polished by a decade in gentle American oak.

Pulteney Distillery, founded by James Henderson in 1826 in the coastal town of Wick, Caithness, is a renowned Highland malt whisky distillery. Known for its worm tubs and uniquely short stills, Pulteney creates a distinctive character in its whiskies. A fragment of the original water channel, designed by Thomas Telford, still remains as a nod to its heritage.
