Linkwood
Linkwood Distillery was established in 1821 by Peter Brown in the Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. Linkwood Distillery is a malt whisky distillery equipped with six stills and whilst a large percentage of Linkwood whisky flows into blends of scotch an increasing volume is appearing as single malt whisky and there are some excellent independent releases of Linkwood single malt whisky. Linkwood Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Nose: Creamy, lots of vanilla, fresh baked bread, egg custard and dried bannana chips
Taste: Yoffee popcorn with a touch of salt and pineapple chunks.
Finish:Crisp and dry, quite herbal with aniseed, gosseberries and a little nutty.
