Nose Elegant coastal peat, sea spray, iodine, toasted oak, citrus peel, and subtle vanilla sweetness.
Palate Rich and mature, delivering flavours of smoky malt, charred embers, salted caramel, honeyed citrus, soft spice, and a hint of tropical fruit emerging with age.
Finish Long, smoky, and gently warming, with lingering peat smoke, maritime salinity, and refined oak.

Distilled in 1998 and matured for two decades in two casks (#6835 & #6837), this 2019 release is limited to just 396 bottles. Long ageing has softened and refined Laphroaig’s famously bold peat smoke, bringing layers of maritime character, orchard fruits, warming spice, and mellow oak influence. A beautifully balanced expression from one of Islay’s most iconic distilleries.
