Palate Bold and sherry-laden with flavours of blackcurrant compote, molasses, and baking spices, lifted by hints of clove, charred oak, and treacle.
Finish Long and warming, with enduring notes of sherry-soaked raisins, bittersweet cocoa, and a gentle smoky char.

Drawn from a single first fill ex-sherry butt, cask #131.2, this rich and complex expression was released as part of the SMWS’s revered single cask series. With only 646 bottles produced, it is a highly collectible release from one of Japan’s most iconic closed distilleries.
