Glenturret 2002 vintage Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in First fill Sherry puncheons bottled 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail for the MacPhail's Collection series. Glenturret (Famous Grouse) Glenturret Distillery was established on the banks of the River Turret at Hosh to the north of Crieff in Scotland’s Highland whisky region in 1775. Now one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and with just two small stills it is also amongst the smallest. Glenturret whisky is released in a limited range of single malts whiskies. Glenturret Distillery visitor centre offers distillery tours and is home to The Famous Grouse Experience. Nose: Sweet Sherry influences with hints of raisin, toffee apple, and beeswax polish aromas complemented by a charred oak edge. Palate: Sweet and peppery with ripe banana, orange, and hints of smooth milk chocolate which combine with charred oak flavours. A liquorice edge develops.

Glenturret
Glenturret Distillery, established in 1775 on the picturesque banks of the River Turret at Hosh, north of Crieff, proudly stands as one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries within the esteemed Highland whisky region. Renowned for its traditional craftsmanship, Glenturret maintains a unique production process where the mash tun is hand-stirred using a long-handled wooden paddle, and the distillery operates with just two small stills, making it one of the smallest Highland distilleries. This meticulous approach results in exceptionally smooth and characterful single malt Scotch whiskies, which are released in a limited range of official bottlings. Additionally, Glenturret’s premium whiskies are highly sought after by independent bottlers such as Signatory Vintage and the MacPhail’s Vintage Collection series, further enhancing its reputation among whisky enthusiasts and collectors. Formerly home to The Famous Grouse Experience, Glenturret Distillery now thrives under the ownership of Lalique, continuing its legacy of excellence and tradition. Visitors to Glenturret can immerse themselves in the rich history and artisanal whisky-making process, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic Highland whisky experience.
