Nose: Opulent fig preserve, raisin syrup and orange‐peel marmalade drift over beeswax-polished oak, walnut shell and a hint of espresso crema. Palate: Velvet waves of treacle toffee, dark-chocolate truffle and sweet malt coat the tongue, followed by clove-spiked caramel, roasted hazelnut and a bright flash of candied citrus. Finish: Long, warming and elegantly dry—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, supple oak tannin and a final flourish of vanilla-malt sweetness.
