Glendullan 18 Year Old 1997 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in bourbon hogsheads bottled 205 by Cadenhead's for the Small Batch series. 444 bottles. Glendullan Glendullan Distillery was established on the banks of the River Fiddich in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region in 1897. A new Glendullan Distillery was constructed close by in 1972 and both the old and new Glendullan Distilleries produced malt whisky until 1985 when the old distillery closed. The old Glendullan Distillery has retained its pagoda roof and the buildings are used by Diageo for warehousing and workshops. Most of Glendullan’s malt whisky flows into Dewar’s, Bell’s and Johnnie Walker blends of scotch with just a little appearing as Glendullan single malt whisky.

The Distillery

Glendullan
Glendullan Distillery, originally established in 1897 by William Williams of Aberdeen on the banks of the River Fiddich in Scotland’s prestigious Speyside whisky region, was founded to produce high-quality Speyside malt whisky for his scotch blending business. In 1972, a new distillery was constructed nearby, allowing both the original and new GlenDullan facilities to continue producing exceptional malt whisky until the original distillery closed in 1985. The historic GlenDullan retains its iconic pagoda roof and is now repurposed by Diageo for warehousing and workshopoperations. Today, the majority of GlenDullan’s malt whisky is seamlessly integrated into renowned blends such as Dewar’s, Bell’s, and Johnnie Walker, highlighting GlenDullan’s significant contribution to the global scotch whiskyindustry. While official distillery releases are limited, Glendullan remains a celebrated name among whisky enthusiasts and collectors, underscoring its enduring legacy and pivotal role in Scotland’s esteemed whisky heritage.
