The Distillery

Aultmore
Founded in 1895, Aultmore Distillery swiftly established itself as a key player in Scotland’s prestigious Speyside whisky region. Just two years after its inception, the distillery’s two copper stills were fired up, beginning the production of exceptional single malt Scotch whisky. Visionary founder Alexander Edward strategically selected a prime location between Keith and Buckie, taking advantage of the fertile arable farmland and the abundant, pure water sourced from the Foggie Burn. The distillery's proximity to Aultmore Station, which opened in 1884 on the Keith to Portessie section of the Highland Railway, facilitated efficient transportation and distribution of its premium whiskies. Today, Aultmore Distillery continues to honor its rich heritage by producing distinguished Speyside single malts renowned for their elegance and complexity, making it a favorite among whisky enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
