Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Nose: An intense nose. Concentrated vanilla, caramel, crushed digestive biscuits and warm, buttery shortbread.
Taste: A warming dram, with that typical Craigellachie chunkiness. The virgin oak influence is strong - pouring honey, sweet butterscotch, molten Demerara sugar and almond pralines. Some sweet spiciness comes through at the back - nutmeg, and a little pepper - with a hint of marzipan too.
