Braeval (Braes of Glenlivet) 13 Year Old 2009 Infrequent Flyers

Nose: Very aromatic. Deep, red wine notes - red berries, marmalade and rosehips. A slight (and pleasant) savoury note can be found lurking side-stage. Taste: Great texture - thick and viscous. The 'big red' influence from the Valpolicella cask is apparent, definitely one for wine lovers; super fruity, with vibrant Victoria plums and cranberries, which linger (naturally). Notes of crushed ginger and black pepper make a late cameo.
