Tamnavulin 45 Year Old 1968 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey. Single refill barrel #10279 bottled March 2014 by Douglas Laing & Co. for the Director's Cut series.

Nose: A sweet shop – wonderful caramelised fruits, boiled sweets & candyfloss.
Palate: That sweet shop! Fudge, barley, coconut, creamy vanilla, ripe fruits & cocoa.
Finish: Tropical fruitiness & orange zest with an oaky peppery character.

Tamnavulin

Tamnavulin is a Speyside malt whisky distillery and commenced production in 1966. Following closure in 1995 it re-opened in 2007 and now operates with six stills. Tamnavulin sits by the River Livet on the northern edge of the Cairngorm Mountains.
