Ladyburn Distillery began working on Christmas Day 1966 but closed in 1975 and subsequently demolished. It was constructed within the Girvan grain distillery complex in Ayrshire in Scotland's Lowland whiskey region and equipped with six stainless steel washbacks and four stills to produce malt whiskey primarily for Wm. Grant's blended whiskies. Ladyburn is a lost Scottish malt whiskey distillery. Signatory released a 40 year old Ladyburn single malt in 2012 under the label Rare Ayrshire.
