Originally equipped with three pot stills it produced both double and triple distilled whisky up until 1970 at which time triple distillation ceased. During the 1970s one still was used to concentrate peat flavour in water, flavoured with peat smoke, which was imported from Stornoway. The resulting peated water was used in the production of Craigduff malt whisky and Glenisla malt whisky. Glen Keith was a Scottish Speyside distillery which produced malt whisky for blended scotch and the occasional official bottling of Glen Keith single malt whisky.
