NEW BLOG: We visited the brand new Isle of Harris Distillery last week as they celebrated their official grand opening. Today, they open to the public. And we can vouch for it being a fantastic new distillery and very welcoming to visitors. Can't wait for the whisky to roll out of here in a few years. Invergordon Distillery was established by Invergordon Distillers Ltd in 1959  at Invergordon on the Cromarty Firth in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Invergordon opened in 1961 and supports The Invergordon Distillery Pipe Band. A single Coffey Still was increased to three in 1963 and an additional and much larger column still was introduced in 1978 in order to produce neutral spirit. Ben Wyvis malt distillery was built in its grounds in 1965 although it closed in 1976 and was demolished in 1977.
