Glenlivet Smith's 1965 Vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey. Matured in Refill Sherry casks, bottled 2012 by Gordon & MacPhail for the distillery label range.

Nose: Delicate estery notes initially (sweet and fresh) with a hint of well toasted malt. Fruity elements develop (ripe gooseberries) with a hint of aniseed.

Palate: Sweet and creamy (toffee) with a hint of ripe summer fruits. A nice hint of charred wood lingers with a mouth warming finish.
