NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: https://www.thewhiskybarrel.co.uk/blog/post/tasting-garnheath This one is rather special! Glendullan

Glendullan Distillery was established on the banks of the River Fiddich in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region in 1897. A new Glendullan Distillery was constructed close by in 1972 and both the old and new Glendullan Distilleries produced malt whisky until 1985 when the old distillery closed. The old Glendullan Distillery has retained its pagoda roof and the buildings are used by Diageo for warehousing and workshops. Most of Glendullan’s malt whisky flows into Dewar’s, Bell’s and Johnnie Walker blends of scotch with just a little appearing as Glendullan single malt whisky.
