NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: https://www.thewhiskybarrel.co.uk/blog/post/tasting-garnheath This one is rather special! Glen Moray 12 Year Old 1999 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey. Single refill hogshead #8435 bottled Spring 2012 by Douglas Laing & Co. for the Provenance series.

Attractively floral, spiced, gristy, honied, (and aromatic generally) on the nos. Palatewide there are more warming spices initially - developing as you holdit, to-drink runny honey and barley flavours - all wonderfully interwined on its warmm finish.

Glen Moray

Henry Arnold’s long established West Brewery situated on the banks of the River Lossie was converted into Glen Moray Distillery in 1897. Glen Moray is a Scottish Speyside malt whisky distillery which has increased its range of single malt whiskies in recent years. The distillery has a visitor centre and offers distillery tours. Glen Moray Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
