St. George’s Distillery is equipped with two copper stills and water is extracted from an aquifer deep beneath the distillery. Around thirteen barrels of St. George’s spirit are produced per week, just one more than Edradour which is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. Baked apples with sultanas, vanilla, dried apricots, slight toffee and malty overtones, hints of cloves and cinnamon spice. With water the nose opens up to reveal more green apple, cinnamon and almonds with a very slight hint of aniseed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePalate:\u003c\/strong\u003e Again, warming and spicy, think white pepper. The crisp maltiness tingles on the tongue. Rich fruits and cloves. Sweet with hints of candyfloss.
