Dufftown Distillery

Dufftown Single Malt Whiskey

Dufftown Distillery was established in 1895 on the site of Pittyvaich corn mill on the Dullan Water just to the south of Dufftown and in the heart of Scotland's Speyside whiskey region. Despite its cramped situation Dufftown Distillery's six stills produce around six million litres of alcohol per year making it a top ten Scottish malt distillery in terms of output. Little spirit emerges as single malt since most flows into Bell's blends but its Singleton of Dufftown range has increased to include Tailfire, Sunray and Spey Cascade and independent bottlings are available from Cadenheads and Signatory Vintage.
