NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: https://www.thewhiskybarrel.co.uk/blog/post/tasting-garnheath This one is rather special! New Products 8th November 2010

Posted by Alastair in New Products

Lots of new releases on the way this month. Glendronach launch Batch 3 of the distillers single cask series, unfortunately allocations are very limited and most have pre-sold - grab a bottle while you can. Bruichladdich chip in with Black Art 2 which is now a 21 year old and a highly anticipated 1977 vintage having just scooped 93/100 over on the excellent WhiskyFun.com. The 5th general release of Kilchoman, Winter 2010, from Islay's farm distillery is due mid-November.
