NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: https://www.thewhiskybarrel.co.uk/blog/post/tasting-garnheath This one is rather special! New Products 18th January 2011

Posted by Alastair in New Products

A quick catch up with a handful of bottles which appeared at the tail end of 2010. A new sherry wood vintage bottling of the gone-for-good Caperdonich from Gordon & MacPhail (Caperdonich from the 70's are usually pretty special), a new series of Vintage Bowmore and the second release from the Macallan Masters of Photography series should be enough to whet your appetite for Burns night on 25th January. The Whisky Barrel would like to thank all of our customers for your support in 2010 and we wish you a very Happy New Year and most prosperous 2011.
