NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: https://www.thewhiskybarrel.co.uk/blog/post/tasting-garnheath This one is rather special! One final big push before the Holiday season. Three new Old & Rare bottlings from Douglas Laing including Bunnahabhain, Bowmore and the first bottling of Speyside's Finest (aka Glenfarclas) under the Glasgow firms premium label boasting a very reasonable price tag. Berry Bros & Rudd continue their run of excellent small batch Speyside blended malt; Blue Hanger 5th Edition features a healthy dose of Glenlivet. Still struggling to find that perfect whisky gift? our new Award Winners page points you in the right direction. And one final word, the VAT rate in Scotland increases to 20% on 4th January 2011 - orders placed for Burns Night before this won't be affected. Happy Holidays!
