NEW BLOG: We visited the brand new Isle of Harris Distillery last week as they celebrated their official grand opening. Today, they open to the public. And we can vouch for it being a fantastic new distillery and very welcoming to visitors. Can't wait for the whisky to roll out of here in a few years. Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol on this website, Please enjoy our products responsibly

BenRiach 25 Year Old Authenticus heavily peated Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey. Matured for 25 years and bottled at natural colour and non chill filtered.

Nose: Elegant aromas of ripe pineapple, fresh mountain herbs and a profusion of sweet peat. A huge pungent blast of peat smoke emerges, partnering the peated element perfectly. Full bodied and audacious.

Palate: A fantastic fusion of rich peat and smouldering embers bound together by fresh herbs - oregano, aniseed and chicory in particular. A rush of sweet, wild honey provides a lovely contrast to this lively, intense expression.

Finish: Terrific weight and development which leaves a powerful long lasting impression on the palate.

John Duff commissioned the Elgin based architect Charles C. Doig to design Benriach Distillery which was duly established in 1898 just south of Elgin and complete with a siding connecting Benriach Distillery directly to the great North of Scotland Railway and the scotch blenders down south. But Benriach Distillery opened just as the whisky bubble burst and was forced to closed in 1900 and remained closed until 1965. Benriach’s maltings did continued to operate but finally closed in 1999. An iconic Scottish malt whisky distillery complete with a Doig pagoda roof over the malt kiln. The Benriach Distillery range includes limited releases of triple distilled, peated and un-peated single malt whiskies. Benriach Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival
