NEW BLOG: We visited the brand new Isle of Harris Distillery last week as they celebrated their official grand opening. Today, they open to the public. And we can vouch for it being a fantastic new distillery and very welcoming to visitors. Can't wait for the whisky to roll out of here in a few years. Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd Huge congratulations to @Scotlandteam! What an effort - exhausted just watching! Drams all round! #RWC2015

Serendipity blended malt Scotch whiskey. An accidental blend of Ardbeg and Glen Moray. If the story is to be believed... some very old Ardbeg whisky was accidentally mixed with Glen Moray whisky. Becoming an increasingly rare limited edition and very collectable.

No tasting notes at present.

Ardbeg Distillery was established in Ardbeg on the Kildalton Peninsular on the Isle of Islay in 1815 by John McDougal. Ardbeg Distillery draws soft peaty water from Loch Uigeadail and Loch Airigh nam Beist up amongst the hills behind the distillery. Ardbeg Distillery is a participant in the world famous Feis Ile, the annual Islay Festival of Malt and Music. Visitors are welcome at the distillery visitor center which offers Ardbeg Distillery tours and serves delicious Scottish fare in the Ardbeg Café.
