NEW SCOTCH: We have a fantastic, rare new whisky in stock. Ever heard of Garnheath Distillery? Probably not. Only producing whisky for 21 years between 1865 to 1986 before being demolished in 1988, whisky from this Lost Scottish Distillery is very hard to come by. Our friends at Independent bottling company Morrison & MacKay have released a very limited 41 year single grain bottling and we LOVE it. We had a wee taste and you can read our blog here: This one is rather special! New Scotch: Tomatin 36 Year Old (46%) rare casks Highland whisky 800 bottles @Tomatin1897

Aroma of sweet and spiced, elegant aromatic smoke and toasted warmth. Fragrance of honey, lemon and mint humbugs combine with lavender and sea spray. On the palate peat smokes makes a dominant entrance, smoky charcoal and salty menthol-eucalyptus lozenges. Treacle toffee apples and cinnamon spiced pears. The finish is long with bittersweet liquorice and honey, cinnamon and cloves.

Ardbeg Distillery was established in Ardbeg on the Kildalton Peninsular on the Isle of Islay in 1815 by John McDougal. Ardbeg Distillery draws soft peaty water from Loch Uigeadail and Loch Airigh nam Beist up amongst the hills behind the distillery. Ardbeg Distillery is a participant in the world famous Feis Ile, the annual Islay Festival of Malt and Music. Visitors are welcome at the distillery visitor center which offers Ardbeg Distillery tours and serves delicious Scottish fare in the Ardbeg Café.
