A limited release for Denmark. Finished in the Premier Cru Superior Sauternes wine barrels for around 6-months.

Nose is sweet and aromatic. Clotted cream, yoghurt and honey dew melon. On the palate vanilla essence and rich honey. The finish is ripe peaches and lovely citrus twist. Mellow and smooth yet with freshness and vitality.

Glendronach

Closing in on a double century having opened in 1826. The last distillery in Scotland to heat its stills directly with flames from a coal-fired furnace, until it had to comply with new regulations in 2005. Nonetheless, still resplendent with a traditional cask iron mash tun, wooden washbacks, four stills and a superb and welcoming visitor centre.
Malting floors closed in 1996 making those earlier sherry matured vintages very special. Returned to private ownership in 2008. Maturation in top quality sherry casks continues to be a priority.
