Repatriated from Japan in 2008, this is a re-release of the original 1977 Bicentenary bottling released in 1998.

Original bottling wrapped in Japanese washi paper, a bespoke oak box and a booklet. 694 bottle release.

Rich and sweet with a hint of smoky peat, picking up soft oak tones. Medium to long, subtle oak with a hint of rich fruit cake. Finish: Long, rich and deliciously complex.

Highland Park

Highland Park Distillery is the most northerly malt whisky distillery in Scotland  and the closest Scottish distillery to the Arctic Circle. Highland Park was established in 1798 and is one of the few Scottish distilleries which continues to malt barley on its own traditional malting floors and to use locally cut peat from Hobbister Moor in its malt kiln. The distillery visitor centre welcomes visitors and offers distillery tours.
