From the Diageo Rare Malts series. A limited edition of 6,000 individually numbered bottles released in 2004. Now becoming highly sought after.

Much of Rosebank's remaining distilling equipment was stolen in January 2009; a sorry end to a forgotten era of Lowland distilling.

Sweet, meadow-flower aromas give way to an intensely sweet clean, lemon flavours and some spiciness. Deliciously crisp with a short, dry gingery finish.

Rosebank

Rosebank Distillery was established in Falkirk in 1840 by James Rankine. Rosebank Distillery was situated at the junction of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal in Scotland’s Lowland whisky region and was equipped with three copper stills and round wooden worm tubs. Rosebank was a malt whisky distillery which produced  triple distilled whisky but closed in 1993. Many of Rosebank Distillery’s buildings have been demolished and it is now a lost Scottish Lowland malt whisky distillery.
