Description

The third release (of six) of the Preludium series from the Swedish distillery Mackmyra. One of 9,096 bottles, each individually numbered. The 03 release is matured in sherry casks, spiced over juniper and peat smoke.

The first whisky distillery in Sweden, at Valbo near Gävle. The first distillation began in 1999. Peaceful location by the crystal clear water of the Mackmyra Bruk.

Tasting Notes

Young, smoky and fruity. The palate tastes of buttery chocolate and sweet raisins.
