Description
A rare 2007 single cask bottling. One of 661 bottles from cask number 1555.
Distillery: Highland Park
An old hand on Orkney, founded 1798. Lots of time to perfect a sumptuous dram. The most northerly distillery in Scotland, the closest Scottish distillery to the Arctic Circle! Own floor malting, peat fire and real peat reek. Smooth, sweet, smoky sherry, dried fruit and a fine dusting of spice
Tasting Notes
Classic aromas of sherry oak sweetness and sweet toffee fudge linger long on the nose. Rich woodspice, raisins and honey give way to sweet smoke which slowly fades to subtly toasted spices.

Customer Rating
Tremendous rich lingering sherry influence, surprisingly smooth considering the alcohol content; the nose opens up with a splash of water offering aromas of Christmas cake and dark chocolate. Superb.
