Distillery: Arran

The last distillery on the island closed in 1837, therefore, the development of this new one and recommencement of distillation on the island after an interval of 170 years was heartening to all whisky enthusiasts. A late twentieth century arrival, just a nipper at the ripe old age of 12 years, yet time enough to have developed its own personality. Delicate and light, some with complexity from a wide range of wood finishes.
