Cask #7542/3/4. A 14-year old bottling of the delicious, spicy and complex highland malt.

Distillery: Clynelish

The original stone built Clynelish opened in 1819 was subsequently renamed. The newer and stylish, white washed and glass fronted, Clynelish built in 1967 sits along side; sort of twins. And here the distillery waters flows across hills containing deposits of real gold.

Tasting Notes

The aroma gives trademark hints of brine, mustard-like spice with banana skins and vanilla softening the attack. The flavour confirms much of this complexity as the fat mouth-feel proceeds to unveil orange skins and warming spice.
