Description

"One for the road" The last bottling to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Douglas Laing, the specialist whisky blenders and bottlers. A series of single cask bottlings to celebrate each of the firms six decades.

For December 2009: 18 year old Glenfarclas (probably Speyside's finest) from a wine finished cask and presented in a special gold embossed wooden box. The bottle and packaging are simply stunning.

195 numbered bottles.

Distillery: Glenfarclas

Founded 1836 and purchased by John Grant and his son George in 1865. Ace sherry casks underpin the ethos of Glenfarclas, having released its first cask strength single malt way back in 1968.
