Summer 2007 seasonal selection from Easter Elchies. A single cask limited edition of only 285 bottles. The bottle was only available to visitors to the distillery.

The fourth bottle of the ‘Seasonal Selection’ series released 2005-2007 which has now been discontinued.

Distillery: The Macallan

A magnificent setting in the valley of the mighty River Spey, in sun light or in moon light or covered in snow. The distillery was established on Easter Elchies Estate in 1824. A busy place now, with 15 stills. An enduring rich, complex and magical whisky.

Tasting Notes

Rich orange, rasin, chocolate. Crème Brulee, ginger with a hint of cloves and oak. This is a single malt to bring to mind the heady scents of balmy summer evenings.
