A limited edition 2004 bottling; the first in a series of three (Very Young 2004, Still Young 2006, Almost There 2007) leading to the all new ten year old in 2008.

Distillery: Ardbeg

Ardbeg is generally peaty, rich, smooth and very complex. Sweet malt, sea salt, dried fruits and rich Islay peat reek. Subject to closures, most recent reopening was 1998; the new 10 year old will be unveiled in 2008.

Tasting Notes

Strong aromas of fresh cut peat and layers of smoke. A young whisky that certainly knows it; boasting a long lingering taste.
