Distillery: Port Charlotte
Port Charlotte is the name of the first new spirit produced by Bruichladdich distillery following the historic re-opening in 2001. In March 2007 Bruichladdich announced plans to reopen the Port Charlotte distillery on the site of the Lochindaal Distillery which closed in 1929.
Tasting Notes
Enveloping with waves of peat spilling over the lip of the glass. The flavour is big and bold but with subtlety and charm hiding underneath. Layers of peat and brine wash over the palate laving a clean and lasting finish.
