Independent and privately owned; oceans of enthusiasm, tuns and tuns of attitude. Peating ranges from a few crumbs to a whole moor, and that’s just per bottle. Subject to closures, most recent reopening in 2001. Huge range, means that there is something for everyone.

Tasting Notes

Medium weight with a delightful fruit syrup texture. The mellow fruit texture coats the palate and the sweet oaky whisky flavour is in layers. It’s a sublime, beautifully structured spirit and all the aromas found on the nose can also be enjoyed in the taste, which is very rare.
