Distillery: Glen Scotia

One of the three remaining distilleries in Campbeltown. Glen Scotia has been silent on frequent occasions this century, including a recent spell in the 1980s. The water is drawn from Crosshill Loch and the distillery’s own wells which are 80 feet deep.

Tasting Notes

Fresh and malty notes with oiled wood influences. A delicate butter and sweetness also present. The palate is very mouth warming with pepper and spices with a long hot finnish.
