Berrys’ Speyside Reserve has been created by the Berry Bros blending team, led by Douglas McIvor, to represent the standard-bearers of style and quality from the Speyside region.
A stunning example of classic Speyside yummyness - this bottling came top in a Whisky Barrel blind tasting in March 2010.
The fruity nose boasts citrus, toasted oak, honey and nuts. The palate broadens with a progressive build up of creamy malt, more nuttiness and sustained rich fruitiness leading to the sublime elegant finish.
Blended Malt is a mixture of two or more Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which have been distilled at more than one distillery. Because Scotland’s whisky blenders are able to standardise the colour, strength and taste in their blends their customers are assured of consistency in a product which may be marketed over a number of years. Formally known as a Vatted Malt.
